Overview
The EU–Africa Forum on Cultural Diplomacy 2025 will convene leaders from government, diplomacy, academia, and the private sector to advance cooperation between Europe and Africa in an era defined by innovation and shared responsibility.
Building on decades of evolving international, cultural, and diplomatic relations, the Forum will explore how cultural diplomacy can drive impactful development, prosperity, and modern economic partnerships. Key discussions will focus on the intersection of culture, technology, and economic growth, including the role of AI, future technologies, digital assets, and responsible investment in shaping inclusive and resilient societies.
Organized by the Academy for Cultural Diplomacy and partner institutions, the Forum will combine dialogue, research, and case studies to identify best practices in strengthening EU–Africa relations through cultural understanding and forward-looking collaboration.
Forum Speakers

Forum Locations
Located in Potsdam, near Berlin, the forum will be hosted at the ICD Academy House, as well as at a selection of significant political, historic, and cultural venues across the city of Berlin."

Participation in the Forum is open to government and diplomatic officials, academics, artists, representatives of civil society, members of the private sector, as well as young professionals and students.

The Forum Committee encourages rigorous academic research and analysis on issues related to the objectives of the Forum. Accordingly, the Committee warmly invites Forum participants to submit papers for consideration, both for presentation during the Forum and for inclusion in the proposal document that will be issued following the event and distributed to governments and leaders of the international community worldwide.
